There are over 250 species of native frogs in Australia but no native toads – as such it is important to be confident in the identification of invasive cane toads before conducting any control measures. Watergum advocates for busters to leave any frogs in the environment unless you are 100% sure they are cane toads as we do not want to remove any of our threatened native species.
