We believe in collaborating for a greener future.

Meaningful stakeholder engagement has the power to drive effective change, through collaboratively addressing challenges and seeking environmental solutions.

Bringing together diverse stakeholders isn’t always an easy task, and that’s where we can help.

Current workshop offerings

Join us for this hands-on workshop to learn all about our native frogs and what you can do to help them in your garden!

Australia is home to more than 240 species of frogs that come in many different shapes and sizes. They are a favourite visitor in gardens, and it doesn’t matter where you are or how big your outdoor space is, you will surely have frogs living nearby.

This workshop, that both kids and adults will thoroughly enjoy, includes an introductory presentation that will help you to identify your hopping friends and learn all about their specific needs. You’ll also be guided through how to make a frog hotel. Workshops can include a large frog hotel to be left in the environment, or individual smaller kits for individuals to take home with them.

Many Australian animals rely on hollows for homes and require different types of habitats to survive.

At this workshop you will learn all about the habitat requirements of Australian native wildlife, the importance of hollow homes. You will create your own possum drey to take home for the wildlife that live in your backyard.

This workshop is suitable for all ages over 5. Materials are included in the workshop cost.

Cane toads are an invasive species in Australia, and many communities are unsure how to effectively and humanely control populations in their local area.

In this informative workshop, we will talk about the impacts of cane toads and teach you everything you need to know about identifying and controlling cane toads at every life stage.

This workshop can be followed by a Watergum-led toad bust or tadpole trapping demonstration. Please note on ground control activities are only available in cane toad breeding season (approximately October – March, but varies each year).

Learn about this unique and mysterious Australian animal that lives in our local waterways in this engaging, educational kids workshop.

Children will learn about what makes the Platypus so special, including their origin, habitat, behaviour and threats. They will also learn how they can look after Platypus populations. Fun interactive activities include building a platypus habitat and crafting a platypus bookmark of their own they can take home!

Learn all about Sea Turtles and their big life journey! From hatching out of their nests on the beach at full moon, to growing into adults that can live to 100 years old!

This workshop includes an interactive presentation where children will learn all about these sea animals that call Australia home, from how mother sea turtles navigate to our beaches to lay their eggs to the challenges these hatchlings face as soon as they emerge from their nest. Fun activities include building a turtle habitat and crafting a take home turtle!
