Community Connections Tree Planting

Watergum is excited to announce a community tree planting day in Kyunnumboon, supporting the habitat development for the at risk flying fox population. Our target for the day is to plant 1080 native wetland plants and we need your help! If you’re looking to get your hands dirty, meet others and contribute in a positive way to the local environment… this is the tree planting for you!

Children are welcome to attend, they must be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure their safety and quality of work is maintained e.g. plants correctly planted.

Family friendly event

Please be prepared for each field day by bringing the following:

• Appropriate clothing for working in the bush (long pants and sleeves recommended)

• Hat

• Full water bottle

• Enclosed shoes

• Positive attitude!
