Join us for an informative day down at the Broadwater to learn about some of the great environmental work being done to restore habitat and protect native species.
The Catchment Crawl is an annual tour organised by Watergum and is part of Gold Coast Green Week.
On Saturday the 12th of June attendees will be given exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of several Broadwater land-based restoration projects, before boarding a boat for a trip around the Broadwater with bird experts, dolphin researchers and more!
The day is a great opportunity for you to see some of these projects up close, mingle with like-minded people and a create way to expand your knowledge and network.
Lunch will be provided for you but please bring plenty of water and your own snacks for morning tea.
Detailed information about meeting times and locations will be emailed to attendees, prior to the event.
You will need to bring:
* Enclosed shoes for walking
* Shoes that can get wet (i.e. some old trainers or reef shoes)
* Sun-safe clothing
* A warm jacket
* Plenty of water
* Snack for morning/afternoon tea
