Learn how healthy our waterways are through water quality sampling!
The Water Quality Monitoring is coordinated by The Gold Coast Catchment Association and supported by the City of Gold Coast – Catchment Management Unit. The program is a collaboration with Gecko, Coomera River Catchment Group, Austinville Landcare & Somerset College.
The program raises community and government awareness in the Gold Coast region and aims to distribute information on waterways health, trends and impacts.
The program is open to the wider community and we really encourage everyone to participate and learn new skills whilst collecting vital data! We aim to collaborate with more community groups to be able expand the program in the next few months.
We are heading out with our Coomera Crew! Meeting location to be confirmed. Meeting time is at 09:00 AM at the Gecko House in Currumbin. Please be aware that this activity involves driving to different locations to take water samples.
Please make sure to register to get all the updates!
