Tweed Cane Toad Busting Challenge – Round 1

 We’re working in partnership with Watergum and our community to get rid of the pest from the environment.

 The first week-long challenge starts on Monday 12 December.

 Log your catch and join the toad busting fun from your own home!

 How does it work?
1️ The idea is to get together with friends and family, get outside and collect cane toads from your local environment.
2️ Log your data online to enter this fun competition and be in the draw for some very exciting prizes! https://watergum.org/toad-busting-database/
3️ The team or individual that catches the most cane toads wins!

 First prize is a family pass to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
 Second prize is a toad busting kit.
 Third prize is a Steve Parish kids’ cane toad story book and a cane toad control manual.

 Prizes are drawn on Monday 19 December!

 What do I need to get started?
• Bucket with a lid
• Gloves
• Torch
• Pick-up stick (optional)
