TurtleWalks with TurtleWatch at Palm Beach

Join us for a TurtleWalk on the shores of Palm Beach! This event is a great way to improve your turtle knowledge as well as the techniques used to monitor turtle activity here on the Gold Coast.
Our afternoon will start off with a guided walk, demonstrating how to conduct a TurtleWalk and log data through our online portal. As we go we will point out key indicators for turtle activity. This is a great way to meet like minded people and help out the Gold Coast turtle population!
The TurtleWalk will go through the following components of the program:
- General turtle education
- Turtle ID and patterns
- How to monitor turtle activity to collect data
- Turtle First Aid
- TurtleWatch Data entry
