Have you every pondered about platypus populations in your local area? What do they eat? Where do they live? Do they really lay eggs and have venomous spurs? How can I see them?
Please come along to the White House of Waterford on 21st of September where PlatypusWatch will be appearing at their regular Saturday afternoon cocktail session!
Grab a refreshing cocktail and meander down to the Barley Hut where you can learn all about your local platypus population, report your own sightings and register your interest in attending our Albert River surveys.
$1 of each cocktail purchased will be donated to local charity, Touch Of Hope!
Touch of Hope’s mission is to give back to the community with the purpose of relieving poverty and stress by providing parcels of food and essential grocery items and clothing to people experiencing homelessness, those that have had to relocate due to a DV situation, families and individuals that cannot afford to buy basic food and groceries for themselves or may be in a poverty situation or near to a poverty situation.
See you all soon!
