The Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre P&C (NVEEC P&C) is excited to continue their Landcare Led Bushfire Recovery grant 2021/22 project in April with another monthly community field day.
Our field days are about members and community volunteers coming together to work in one of our key restoration zones in the Numinbah Valley. If you’re looking to get active and do something positive for the local environment why not join in to help us plant 800+ native plants?!
Afterwards, everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy a cuppa which includes our famous morning tea!
This month we have special guest Watergum conduct more Waterbug water quality testing on the Nerang River. Don’t miss this opportunity to participate in valuable citizen science on the Gold Coast’s water supply.
Children are welcome to attend, they must be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure their safety and quality of work is maintained e.g. plants correctly planted and watered as per instructions.
Please bring a water bottle and wear appropriate clothing for working in the bush- including enclosed footwear
Please register for COVID-19 compliance.
