Koala Conservation Walk

Join Watergum for a guided bushwalk through Logan’s koala habitat to discover how we can help protect one of Australia’s most iconic animals.

This outdoor experience will be led by a local wildlife expert who will take you through the basics of koala ecology, signs of their presence (like scats and scratch marks), and the challenges they face in the wild. You’ll also learn about the plants they rely on, their movement corridors, and what we can all do to support their survival.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER:

• This event is designed for adults and families.
• Recommended for ages 10 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.
• This is an outdoor walk in a bushland environment with uneven surfaces and unsealed tracks. Participants must be physically able to be stand and walk through a park for up to 2 hours – moderate fitness required.
• You must register and secure a ticket for all people attending. Spaces are limited.
• Detailed event information will be sent to the email address provided upon registering.

INFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT:

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.
• Please wear fully enclosed shoes, sun-smart clothing, hat and sunscreen. Bring along drinking water, insect repellent, binoculars (optional), and a camera or mobile phone for pictures.
• This event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren’t suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.
