The Black Plum Project
The Black Plum Project is an unincorporated organisation dedicated to the recovery of Planchonella eerwah, an Endangered dry rainforest tree, found in SEQ.
The group has contributed to the restoration of around 4 hectares of park land along the Nerang River through environmental weed management and planted more than 20,000 native plants. The group has also made a significant contribution to the control of the invasive weed, cats claw creeper vine, which is found at many locations along the Nerang River.
