DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun-packed and interactive workshop where kids will learn all about waterways and waterbugs!\n\n\nDiscover more about our waterways and the hundreds of different species of waterbugs that call them home! This is a hands-on session that we know kids (and adults) will thoroughly enjoy. \nKids will become scientist as they forage and discover waterbugs from river and creek samples. They’ll be using all sorts of special equipment to learn how to collect and identify these important insects. \nWaterbugs play a vital role in our waterways and their diversity helps us understand the health of local rivers and creeks. They’re also an important food source for many creatures\, including the platypus! \nImportant information:  \n\nRegistrations required for children only. Places are limited.\nSuitable for ages 5 years and older – parent/guardian supervision required.\nIf you can no longer attend\, please cancel your booking via Eventbrite to free up your place to those who are on the waiting list. DESCRIPTION:Native frogs are a favourite visitor of Australian gardens and come in many different shapes and sizes. It doesn’t matter where you are on the Gold Coast or how big your outdoor space is\, you will surely have frogs lurking nearby. Native frogs need our help as they are struggling to find suitable habitat to live and breed. This workshop includes an introductory presentation that will help you to identify your hopping friends and learn all about their specific needs. \nIMPORTANT IMFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER \n\nSuitable for ages 5 to 10 years.\nDo not register children under the adult ticket section as we only have a limited number of kids per session.\nFurther location details will be provided within registration confirmation email.\nThis is an indoor workshop.
