DESCRIPTION:A fun-packed workshop where kids explore local waterways and discover creek critters during the Peaks to Point Festival! \nGet hands-on in this interactive outdoor experience and meet the fascinating critters that call Logan’s waterways home. \nLearn how these tiny animals are all connected in the aquatic food chain and why they play such an important role in keeping our waterways healthy. \nKids will have the chance to forage for waterbugs\, take a closer look\, and uncover what’s living just beneath the surface and along the edges. It’s a great way to spark curiosity and help children connect with the world around them! \n  \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER: \nThis event is designed for children.\nSuitable for ages 5 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.\nThis is an outdoor event along a waterway.\nYou must register and secure a ticket for all children attending (adults are not required to register). Spaces are limited.\nDetailed event information will be sent to the email address provided upon registering. \nINFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT: \nPlease arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.\nPlease wear fully enclosed shoes (that can get wet)\, sun-smart clothing\, hat and sunscreen. Bring along drinking water\, insect repellent and a snack (optional).\nThis event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren’t suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event. \nThis workshop is delivered by Watergum. \n
