DESCRIPTION:The Southern Pink Underwing Moth (Phyllodes imperialis smithersi) is a rare and threatened species found in subtropical regions of Australia. Its survival depends on the presence of its host plant\, the Carronia Vine (Carronia multisepalea)\, which provides essential food and habitat for the moth’s larvae. Carronia Vine is an important native climbing plant\, and conservation efforts include weed control\, planting of Carronia\, and monitoring its distribution to support the moth’s recovery. \nThis workshop aims to raise awareness\, provide hands-on experience\, and involve the community in protecting this unique species and its habitat.
