DESCRIPTION:Ipswich City Council has partnered with not-for-profit community environment group Watergum Community to bring to bring the Cane Toad Challenge to Ipswich this season! \nIpswich City Council’s first-ever Online Cane Toad Challenge\nThe race is on to see which Ipswich locals can win the title of Toad Busting Champion by removing the most cane toads from their area during the week.\nHow does it work? \nFrom 30 January – 8 February 2026\, any data logged in the City of Ipswich region will count towards the online challenge. Taking part is easy: \n\nGet together with friends and family\, get outside and collect cane toads from your local environment.\nLog your data online to enter and be in the draw for some very exciting prizes to be announced!\nhttps://survey123.arcgis.com/…/258adb07fc874cfca5fc7112…\n\nThe team or individual that catches the most cane toads during this week wins!\n\nThe data survey form is open throughout the cane toad season\, and submissions are welcome at any time to help Watergum track cane toad numbers and the impact of community control efforts.
