Long Tan ParkLong Tan Park\, Currumbin Valley\, QLD 4223 \nYou may not have noticed before\, but our rivers and creeks are home to hundreds of different species of waterbugs. Some of these waterbugs are extremely sensitive to pollution. When we sample water\, we test for the presence or absence of these waterbugs to let us know whether a waterway is healthy or not. \nThis activity is suitable for both children and adults of all ages. \nYou will learn how to collect waterbug samples correctly before collecting and identifying the different species. \nThe data collected is nationally recognised and is shared with our local councils to provide up-to-date information about the health of our waterways. \nWhat to bring \n?Gum boots/water shoes.
