DESCRIPTION:Come along for a fun-packed and interactive workshop where kids will learn all about local waterways!\n\n\nCome along to this educational and hands-on outdoor event to learn about the different creatures that call Logan’s waterways home. \nOur waterways are home to some unique and wonderful creatures. Find out how everything fits together in the aquatic food chain and what you can do to help keep our waterways healthy. \nKids will get the opportunity to forage for waterbugs\, go on a treasure hunt to search for different waterway wildlife and make a special waterway animal to take home. Don’t miss the opportunity for your kids to get curious and connect with nature! \n \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER: \n\nThis event is designed for children.\nSuitable for ages 5 years and older with parent/guardian supervision.\nThis is an outdoor event along a waterway.\nYou must register and secure a ticket for all children attending (adults are not required to register). Spaces are limited – each session is set to a maximum capacity.\nDetailed event information will be sent to the email address provided upon registering.\n\n \nINFORMATION FOR THE DAY OF THE EVENT: \n\nPlease arrive 15 minutes before the start of the event to check in.\nPlease wear fully enclosed shoes (that can get wet)\, sun-smart clothing\, hat and sunscreen. Bring along drinking water\, insect repellent and a snack (optional).\nThis event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren’t suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.\n\n \nThis workshop is delivered by Watergum.
