SUMMARY:Creek Explorers: Discovering Healthy Waterways
DESCRIPTION:Learn about the different creatures that inhabit Logan Waterways in this interactive outdoor event! \nOur waterways are home to some unique and wonderful creatures that not only rely on us for survival but they rely on each other as they move up the food chain. This event will help you start at the bottom of the food chain and work your way up to learn how everything fits together! \nWe’ll start by foraging for waterbugs and collecting a sample to see what species we can find. Next we’ll go on a treasure hunt to search for different waterway animal species\, we’ll have to find them all to complete our healthy ecosystem! And finally\, we’ll make a special waterway animal to take home! \nChildren will need; \n*Water safe shoes \n*Sun protection \n*Plenty of drinking water \n*A snack \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION: \nRegistrations required for all attendees – spaces are limited!\nSuitable for ages 5 years and older – parent/guardian supervision required for under 18’s.\nIf you can no longer attend\, please cancel your booking via Eventbrite to free up your place to those who are on the waiting list.
