DESCRIPTION:Join us on a guided night adventure during the Logan Koala Count and see if you spot one of our native mammals!\n\n\nMany of Australia’s native species are nocturnal and can be best discovered after dark! \nCome along as we journey through Logan’s natural environment to see what night-time creatures we can spy under torchlight – you never know what we might see in a different light! Learn tips and tricks from on guides on how to spot different species and safely observe them without impacting them. \nThis event is being delivered during Logan’s annual Koala Count (25 September – 8 October 2023). Find out more about how you can share your sightings with the scientific community and our region in the FAQ’s below! \nFor more information on the 2023 Logan Koala Count\, visit: www.inaturalist.org/projects/logan-koala-count-2023 \nImportant information:  \n\nRegistrations required for all attendees – spaces are limited! \nSuitable for ages 12 years and older – parent/guardian supervision required for under 18’s.\nThere are no toilet facilities at this location.\nThis event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren’t suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.\nIf you can no longer attend\, please cancel your booking via Eventbrite to free up your place to those who are on the waiting list.
