DESCRIPTION:Are cane toads a problem in your backyard?\n\n\nRedland City Council’s Environment and Education Team in conjunction with Watergum are talking toads at our first Eco Market this year. There are two sessions – 9am and 10.30am  \nTalking Cane Toads and Frogs will cover: \n\nThe history of cane toads\nHow cane toads affect native frogs and other wildlife\nThe easiest way to differentiate between cane toads and local native frogs throughout their life stages.\n\nNote: This is activity is held indoors in our theatrette/conference room so anyone 16 years or over will be required to be fully vaccinated to attend. For our more information on our COVID Safe requirements please visit our website. \nThese sessions will be followed by practical toad catching evenings on 8 April Capalaba Regional Park and 9 April at Mt Cotton Community Park. \nPlease note: This is a family friendly event and is suitable for children five years and over.
